It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Carley Quirk (née Smith) on Friday, 13 March 2026.
Carley was a much loved daughter, wife, friend and a devoted mother to Elsie and Albi, and a loving partner to her husband Bryden. She was deeply dedicated to her family and brought warmth, kindness and laughter to the lives of those around her. Carley had a wonderful sense of humour and was a warm, kind, fun and funny friend who made people feel welcome, supported and cared for.
She was also incredibly bright and curious. Carley participated in postgraduate study focusing on pop culture and ran her own children’s toy business, combining her creativity, intelligence and love of bringing joy to kids and families.
Her loss has left a profound hole in the lives of those who loved her.
As many know, the emotional toll of losing someone so suddenly can also bring unexpected financial pressures. We are raising funds to help support Bryden, Elsie and Albi during this incredibly difficult time, including assisting with funeral expenses and easing some of the immediate burdens they now face. Funds raised will go directly towards funeral costs and helping Bryden support Elsie and Albi in the months ahead.
In times like this, the support of community can make a real difference. Any contribution, no matter the size, would be deeply appreciated.
Please also keep Bryden, Elsie and Albi, her loving parents and Carley’s wider family and friends, in your thoughts during this heartbreaking time.
Thank you for your kindness and support. If you are unable to contribute, sharing this page would also mean a great deal to the family.
