I'm starting this gofundme on behalf of my mom Carlene Olsen, an extremely loving mother, nonny, wife and friend who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Carlene is one of of the kindest, most compassionate people you have ever known and she has helped so many people get through so many difficult times. It is my hope that we can all rally together to show her that same love and support.  She will be having multiple surgeries and procedures in hopes of fully eradicating all traces of the cancer. Again, we are reaching out to friends, family, and community for support during this difficult time. While we aren't sure yet about the full extent of the cancer, the beginning stages of treatment alone are very difficult, stressful, and expensive. The first major surgery will be on October 23rd, and will be followed with many appointments as well as at least one more surgery and potential for the need of other treatment options. Any and all support is immensely appreciated. We wouldn't be able to get through times like these without all of the wonderful people that are a part of our lives. I will be posting periodic updates on here throughout the process of surgeries and recoveries. There will also be a box at Lasting Impressions Salon (address below) where anyone can come in to leave cards or write a note of love and encouragement to Carlene during her surgery and recovery process. I will periodically bring all of the cards and notes to her so she can continuously feel the outpouring of love. My family and I are so grateful to live in such a supportive and loving community, we greatly appreciate everything everyone has done and continues to do.
