On June 1st, while attending an end of the school year celebration, Carlee was caught in the middle of gunfire. The bullet entered her flank area and moved throughout her abdominal area, causing damage. After two surgeries, it has been determined that she will have to live with the bullet lodged in her spinal area. It is still undetermined whether or not Carlee will be able to walk.
