Our wonderful Carla that has loved on all of our babies, faithfully throughout the years, needs us to faithfully love her back. She has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, and although they are unsure what stage at this time, they do know that she will have to undergo a double mastectomy and reconstruction surgery in the next few weeks. During the surgery they will hopefully be able to better determine what stage the cancer may be. We are hoping and praying for the best, but prepping for the worst. Carla is a single mom, with a daughter, Kaila, in college. Best case scenario, Carla will be out of work for many weeks recovering from surgery. Leaving her without wages and piling on an extreme amount of extra medical expenses. I set up this account to hopefully offset some of the financial burden she is sure to endure over the next several months, as they figure out next steps, prognosis, etc. Oh... and as she kicks cancer’s bootayyyy!!!
