Let’s start with the most important thing: Carla is so very grateful for all the help she’s been given so far. This is a tremendous community of caring people, who’ve been so willing to be her ‘village.’

Carla’s car broke down and she’s in need of some help to pay for the repairs. The money previously raised is no longer available. She needed it to deal with replacing her water heater.

Carla relies on her car for work and has a teenage special-needs son. I probably don’t need to tell anyone how important it is for a single parent to have a working vehicle. Add in the special-needs family member and it becomes imperative.

Right now, repair estimates are coming in at approximately $4,000 plus tax. She could not sell a non-running car with a salvaged title for enough funds to replace it with something reliable.

This is not an easy request for her, but the situation is dire, and the need is sincere.

I make this request on her behalf, - please help her put together a fund to deal with her transportation needs. Any small amount helps.
