Charles Sherman is the husband of my best friend Carla. On November 21, Charles was in a near-fatal car accident near Big Bear and taken to Arrowhead Regional Hospital where he underwent an 8-hour life-saving surgery. 

On December 14, after spending a week at home, where he was starting to recuperate and was receiving 24-hour care, Charles was hospitalized again – this time at Cedars Hospital – for a serious infection. Carla has taken a temporary leave of absence from her job as a teacher so she can devote herself full time to Charles’ care and recovery. 

Charles’ work as a publicist has already suffered some severe setbacks due to COVID-19. We want to help Charles and Carla with the financial toll, including mounting hospital bills, of their journey. Thank you for supporting this wonderful couple during an incredibly challenging time.
