Carl Silva Medical and Funeral Expenses

Carl Silva is an incredibly talented musician and an energetic performer who has been entertaining New Mexico crowds for more than sixty years. From his 60s band, the Striders  (who had a national hit on Columbia Records), to being a founding member of the popular 70s Albuquerque rock & roll band, the Planets, to many, many sold-out shows with the Carl Silva Revue, Carl has certainly earned legend status in the Albuquerque music community, he is also one of the kindest, most loving, and generous people we know.  Carl has been ill for some time now and it has reached the point where his rare disease has taken him over, he is now in hospice and just weeks away from the end of his amazing journey. We are raising money for his medical and funeral expenses.
