Carl Ray Starr

My name is Amber, I am raising money for my dad’s funeral. In the last 6 years he has dealt with stomach cancer and multiple leg amputations. Thursday 12/07 he was rushed to the hospital with severe pain and body weakness. They found an infection from his knee up to his hip. 12/08 they operated and amputated above the knee. 12/10 his breathing wasn’t right and they found his lungs filling with fluid. They put him on a ventilator. 12/12 they attempted to take him off the ventilator, with no success. They advised me it was time for his family to say their goodbyes, as he will not be waking up. My dad was a great man. He loved his daughters and son in law. He loved his granddaughters. He loved his family. And he fought hard to stay with us and see them grow.

Carl Ray Starr passed peacefully on December 14th 2023.
