In Memory & Support of Carl Pennington

Over the last year, Carl endured an uphill battle with his health regarding his heart. My mother, Leann Pennington, has been there by his side, cheering him on and supporting him in every way possible. Unfortunately, Carl lost this uphill battle and passed away of a heart attack late on Tuesday evening. This brings incredible sadness and heartbreak to us all, including his daughters Carly, Amber and his son Kaemon.

Our mom and Carl were childhood sweethearts who went on to live separate lives, losing touch completely for 20 years. Until, one day, they were reunited and the rest was history! Sounds like something out of a movie, right? I remember my mother being over-the-moon with the how her life turned out. They were so happy to have found each other again and it warmed our hearts. Over the years, Carl was an incredible husband and family man to our family. He took care of my mom, my brothers, Logan and Brandon, as if they were his own. For that, we are all truly grateful.

But, now, with my mom's world flipped upside down in seconds, as she needs to navigate how to move forward without the support he so generously gave to her and my brothers.

This fund would help my mother finance Carl's arrangements for his cremation, his medical expenses, as well as help her get back on her feet to help support herself and my brothers during this time. Transitions like this are never easy, but, any help will make it easier for them. We want to say that we appreciate any and all help you choose to give, even if it's thoughts and prayers.
