Dear Friends and Family-
I am reaching out to ask for your prayers and financial support on behalf of one of the kindest and brightest young men I have known.
Carl Foster was in a tragic motorcycle accident in early April and was hit head on by someone trying to pass in a double yellow zone . Thank fully he was able to make a quick defensive correction which saved his life, but his injuries are substantial. He has been relocated to a rehabilitation unit after having spent weeks in the AV hospital and difficulties compounded with the Covid-19 crisis. I was contacted by his mother Karen and have been in correspondence with her concerning his progression. The Hospital stay and rehabilitation costs are several figures. To compound the issue further, the party that irresponsibly hit him also was driving without insurance.
Carl had worked for me for a 3 year period recently , while putting himself through school and obtained a scholarship to attend cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He has been working on an accounting degree and has his whole Life ahead of him. He had come home during the mandated stay home order to Antelope Valley when this accident occurred.
I know we are all in a tough position right now with what is happening in the world, but I want to ask if you can please spare what you can to assist him in his recovery. He has a long road of recovery ahead of him. I know he will be very grateful for any support we can give as the financial burden and healing process are going to be challenging to say the least.
Thank you so much for your prayers and financial support for Carl during this time.
Sincerely-
Jesse Thomason
