For those of you who know my parents personally, the first thing that probably comes to your mind is how hard working they are! I have truly never met two people who work as hard and diligently as they do.

My Dad has worked two jobs my entire life and has always gone above and beyond to make sure his family was taken care of! Unfortunately, his physical health has taken a turn and he can no longer keep at this pace.

On November 29th, we found out that my Dad is in congestive heart failure and his heart is currently working at 25%. We are currently waiting on the date for his open heart surgery.

My goal is to be able to cover 6 months of their mortgage and bills while my Dad is recovering. This would allow my Mom to also pull back from her full-time cleaning business to take care of him, without the stress of finances.

Any extra funds received would go straight to medical bills and the cost of his surgery.

This is such a vulnerable ask, and something my parents would never do on their own. BUT - thank God for persistent kids like me who won’t take no for an answer :)
