Carl Bayley's Family
Donation protected
It is with heartfelt sadness that we lay to rest Carl Bayley after a sudden and unexpected heart attack on Sunday, August 18, 2019. Carl was a man of very few words. He expressed himself in the world of culinary arts. Carl was an amazing Chef.
Carl started with Capone’s Restaurant when he was just 15 years old as a dishwasher. Throughout the years he moved up the ranks loving every aspect of the hospitality and restaurant arena. Constantly learning and becoming more creative with his dishes, menu ideas and stressing upon local ingredients. Carl did attend Algonquin College in the Hotel and Hospitality Program where he soared. He continued to be the head Chef at Capone’s. There was a time where Carl had left his position to seek out other experiences in various other kitchens. And more often than not he held two jobs to provide for his family and better his career.
Three years ago Carl landed his dream position at Moxie’s Restaurant providing new challenges all the while allowing a better work / life balance for his family.
Carl was a good provider to his wife, Kim and his two daughters, Parker and Jersey. A donation at this time would greatly off-set the cost of the funeral arrangements as there is no life insurance. As well as provide some stability for the girls as they move forward with their post-secondary education.
