My name is Cara Burke and on September 2nd 2022 my beautiful sister Carissa took her own life. For those that knew her she was a one of a kind soul, the type of person you only come across once in a lifetime. She was selfless, empathetic, caring, gorgeous inside and out, she was my best friend. October 2004 we lost our oldest sister Crystal the same tragic way; suicide. Leaving Carissa to find her body. In June 2008 we once again faced devastating loss of our mother Ginger Burke in a car accident. My sister Carissa not only became my oldest sister but my mom, and she did an amazing job at filling her shoes. She meant everything to me and I am still in shock. She was such an amazing soul and she touched the lives of everyone she met. She leaves behind me, our dad Dave Burke, her 3 month old niece Kaelana, and so many friends and relatives. All donations will go to funding her memorial and funeral services.
