Carisa's Wheelchair Accessible Van

Hi, everyone looking at this. We decided to start an account to raise money to go towards a wheelchair accessible van, and ramp for our house for our daughter, Carisa.  Carisa is a medically fragile 2.5 year old.  She has the cognitive abilities of a 2-5 month old. She has an extensive medical history. Some of the conditions she has are hydrocephalus with a VP shunt, epilepsy, encephalopathy, hearing loss, vision issues, hypotonia, and GI issues. She is fed through a Jtube (20 hours a day) and vented through a Gtube (24 hours a day).  She is not mobile or verbal.  We are in the process of getting a wheelchair accessible van, so we can get around as a family easier. It is hard carrying dead weight in and out of the car, setting up and taking down her chair, carrying all her equipment, and a nurse. Someone has to be with Carisa 24 hours a day. The price of a wheelchair accessible van is the price of the vehicle and then the price of the conversion. Plus a ramp to get from the van to the house. It costs almost as much as a mortgage payment.  So, if you have it in your heart to help us we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
