Cancer is not a word anyone wants to think about. It's definiteley not a word a nine year old little girl wants to hear describe her father. Cory Graham is a caring, loving, self-employed single dad that has just been diagnosed with Stage 3-B non-small cell lung cancer. Monday (02/02/2015), they will be doing another biopsy on other lymphnodes to find out if the cancer has spread. At that appointment, the doctor will also set up his plan for radiation and chemotherapy. During this time, Cory must also see a Neurosurgeon to plan his treatment for two bulging disks (c-5 and c-6) he is fighting as well. Being Cory's neighbor brought him into our lives but his warmth made him our friend. He is a very hard working, strong person. We are doing everything we can to help him out. We may not be able to fight this battle for him, but we can use our resources to help lessen the financial burden that comes with it. Please keep him in your prayers. Cory knows that God doesn't give us anything we can't handle but knowing that the strength and support of his community is behind him will also help to lift his spirits!
