Caring man in need.

Hello everyone, my parents are in need of some help. A little over a year ago my stepfather Andy was diagnosed with NASH CIRRHOSIS of the liver and these last few months his health has rapidly declined. Up until recently he forced himself to continue to work full time as a Nurse. Even with struggling with his own health he loved taking care of others, but that’s just who he is as a person. Recently his doctors discovered that on top of having cirrhosis, he also has developed liver cancer. Thankfully it has not spread outside of his liver, so he is still eligible for a liver transplant and is currently number 4 on the list. It has taken a huge toll on both Andy and my Mother mentally, physically, and financially, as he is not able to work at this time. As we all know hospital bills are not cheap, especially with multiple hospital stays and having to get his abdomen drained of fluid multiple times a week. Thats not even including his regular checkups and the numerous medications that he is prescribed. Hopefully soon we will get the call that there is a viable liver available for him. Andy is a great person, and the best stepfather, Papa and friend. This hasn’t been easy for either of them and there is still a very long and financial road ahead. Anything helps, no amount is to small and our family would be forever grateful ❤️
