Caring for the Purdys

UPDATE: The members of City Church Midtown in Birmingham, Alabama, are raising funds to help our pastor and his wife - Gary and Marilyn Purdy - as they work to heal from some serious health issues. 

March, 2021: Marilyn was progressing with outpatient physical therapy, but has since had a couple of new, minor strokes. She is hoping to get an inpatient placement (mainly so insurance will cover it!). They have reached their limit on outpatient insurance coverage, so inpatient placement would be ideal. They ask for prayers for healing and treatment options. 

January, 2021: Marilyn had a stroke that has seriously affected her right side. They need care, therapy, and support as she works to rebuild strength, mobility, and independence.

The costs of care and therapy are significant. Thank you for your help with caring for Gary and Marilyn.
