Caring for the Curreys

Hello Dear friends and family of the Curreys,

 

As many of you are aware, our dear Tacy is in the ICU following complications from what was intended to be a simple sinus surgery on 4/21. After returning home to recover, John checked on her and found her unresponsive and called 911. She has been placed on a ventilator, and is becoming increasingly responsive day by day, hour by hour. John, Spencer, and Riley have been taking turns staying by her side at the hospital and balancing the home life with the four little ones. John wants everyone to know how much he appreciates the love, prayers, and support. Tacy has sustained liver damage and will go on dialysis later today. She is groggy, but recognizes familiar faces which is a huge blessing, and a sign that our faithful warrior WILL return, but it will be a long road. She will remain in the ICU until she is off the ventilator. Erica has offered to corridor incoming efforts to help, and to help stream-line the phone calls, texts, etc we will be posting updates here as well as on Facebook.

 

Due to the distance, meal trains are challenging so this GoFundMe has been set up to help the family with food and other essentials as Tacy continues her road to recovery. Tacy has her mom and sisters coming in from out of town to stay and help at home, which will be a tremendous relief.
