Kayla is an incredible wife to her husband, Clay, and an amazing mother of their four children; Paxton, Ashton, Jaden, and Adalyn.
- On Saturday, September 18th, 2021, Kayla was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit due to severe complications from a rare liver condition.
- Kayla was transferred to a higher level of care at Piedmont Healthcare in Atlanta on September 22nd. She arrived at Piedmont in complete liver failure and in desperate need of a liver transplant.
- Paxton, Ashton, Jaden, and Adalyn are dispersed amongst family and friends while their mother clings to life awaiting a liver match and their father sits helpless.
The purpose of this GoFundMe account is being established to offset the substantial medical/transportation/lodging expenses that are currently and will continue to be incurred in the days and weeks to come while also providing for any needs the children have during this time as well.
As many of you know, Clay and Kayla are devoted parents and two of the most loyal friends to be blessed with. If you are able, please consider supporting this family during their time of need. We know they would never ask for help on their own but they would be the first to step out and help others in need.
Finally, we ask for your prayers for Clay, Kayla, the children, their family, and the entire medical team that is caring for Kayla. We are confident in God's good and faithful plan for this family.
