Help Rachel Recover After a Life-Changing Stroke
Greetings, I'm Tesra Sharpe-Lawson, Rachel’s first born.
On July 4, 2025, our beloved mom, Rachel, suffered a devastating stroke that changed her life completely. Since that day, she has been unable to move or care for herself and now relies on a feeding tube for nutrition.
Rachel is currently in a medical facility that provides physical, speech, and occupational therapy — all essential for her chance at recovery. Unfortunately, the cost of care is overwhelming, at $8,000 per week.
After 31 years of dedicated service as a Brevard County School System bus driver, Rachel safely transported generations of children within her community. She was known for her warm smile, patience, and deep care for the families she served. Now, it’s our turn to give back to someone who spent her life caring for others.
We, the Hadley / Gaines / Sharpe family, are asking for your help to support Rachel’s ongoing medical care, therapy, and recovery expenses. Every donation, no matter the amount, will make a real difference in helping us provide her with the best care possible.
Your kindness, prayers, and generosity mean the world to us. Thank you for standing by Rachel and helping us through this difficult journey.
Update & Gratitude:
We are deeply touched by the outpouring of love and support from friends, family, and our community. Every donation, message, and prayer reminds us that we’re not walking this road alone.
Rachel continues to work with her therapy team each day, showing strength and determination despite the challenges. Your generosity allows her to keep receiving the specialized care she needs to regain strength and independence.
We will continue to share updates on her progress so you can see how your kindness is making a difference. From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for helping Rachel fight her way back.
