Hello I am Kai.

My sister, my father & I are creating a page for my mother, you know her as Kelly Kayser or K2 or Kelly Williams. Mom had an emergency brain surgery on July 2, 2026. What we thought was a routine eye visit for new prescription glasses turned into a CT scan and a quick scheduled frontal craniotomy.

The neurosurgeon at MUSC said it was top three largest tumor he’s seen in 26 years, the size of a baseball. We’re beyond overwhelmed, emotionally and financially. Dad takes on most roles with my help of running the family business, a household & the very demanding task of being caretakers.

To put it in perspective, the hospital bill alone is currently over $82,000. Mom has been in and out of the ER since we’ve been back home. The prescription Nurtec is $480 for eight pills and that’s just one prescription, there are four or five more. Because we are uninsured mom has applied to a few financial programs, two have already declined. We have faith the 3rd, 4th, or 5th month she is relieved of pain. She prays everyday & is thankful for all of you who have already donated time, prayers, & love, it means the world to her & us!

There is continued physical therapy, neurologist visits, MRI scans, & lab work, when she feels well enough to go. Please accept this letter with our over the top humbleness. Please send to anyone & everyone in your sphere.
