My name is Donna and I am Michael's sister. I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of his daughter, Mickie during this incredibly difficult time.

With heavy hearts, we are mourning the sudden loss of Michael - a devoted father, loving brother, and a kind, generous, and dependable person who was always willing to help others and whose genuine, down-to-earth nature touched everyone who knew him. He passed away suddenly. His loss has left a deep void, and our family is now facing both emotional devastation and significant uncertainty as we try to move forward.

Michael leaves behind one daughter Mickie (25). He was an amazing father and Mickie's only caregiver. When the detective came to tell us he passed, we were needless to say devastated.

Autopsy report came back and shows that Michael had a heart attack while out running errands.

As we grieve this unimaginable loss, we are also navigating the immediate financial challenges that come with it. Due to medical reasons, Mickie is unable to work at this time.

The funds raised through this GoFundMe will help cover cremation and provide immediate financial support for Mickie. While some insurance benefits may be available, these processes take time, and his daughter still needs support to manage essential household expenses such as the rent, utilities and groceries in the meantime.

More than anything, what I hope to achieve through this fundraiser is to give Mickie some stability and breathing room as she grieves and begins adjusting to life without him.
