Caring for Luke Dennis & Family

7 month old Luke Dennis is the precious son to Malcolm & Laura Dennis, the twin brother to Hayden and baby brother to his sister Aubrey. Luke was born with a rare condition, Pulmonary Artery Sling. They've had appointments at MUSC to discuss options and next steps to treat his condition but has been hospitalized twice, the first time was at the end of October, days before his scheduled MUSC visit. Now, just weeks later he is hospitalized again with RSV and having PA makes breathing extremely difficult for this precious baby boy. Yesterday my dear friends and former colleague, Malcolm and Laura Dennis, took sweet Luke back to Palmetto Health Children's Hospital for difficulty breathing and congestion where he has been admitted and in ICU on a ventilator. They have been running lots of tests to determine the appropriate course of treatment and/or procedures for the current illness/virus as well as how to correct or manage the Pulmonary Artery Sling. Your continued thoughts and prayers and any monetary donation to help this beautiful family would be greatly appreciated. As you can imagine, they are incurring huge medical expenses and needing time off from work to be with their family sure doesn't stop the flow of bills and all of the many expenses that still need to be paid. I want to help lift some of the financial strain if possible so they can focus on getting Luke well and relieve the stress of finances. My hope is to take one less worry off of these wonderful parents so they can remain strong & healthy for the road ahead. May GOD bring peace and healing and healthier, happier days ahead.
