I am trying to raise some funds for our rabbit, Ladybug. We met her at a rabbit rescue 4 years ago in Washington and immediately fell in love. She is now bonded with our other rabbit, Fred. She is the small light grey rabbit that you see in the pictures. She likes to get into trouble and is the little fierce leader of our household.

Fred and Ladybug are basically an old married couple and do everything together. They really look out for each other and cannot stand to be separated. Ladybug keeps us on our toes, keeps us laughing, and she means the world to us. Unfortunately, on January 19th, Ladybug stopped eating. Although I have experience with GI stasis in rabbits and started caring for her around the clock, she began to go downhill quickly. She has been seen at a couple of vets and is currently at an emergency clinic.

She has suspected kidney failure, but the vets are still working to rule other things out. For now, the most important thing is to give her fluids and get her eating on her own again. The prognosis is guarded and we are not sure what is going to happen, but we want to try everything that we can to help her. Ladybug has changed our world for the better and means a lot to our family. If there’s even a small chance of her getting through this, we want to try, but to do that we need help. The cost of hospitalization is extremely high. If you can spare just a couple of dollars or share this, it would be immensely appreciated by myself, Ladybug, Fred, my husband, and the rest of our family.
