In January 2026, I said goodbye to my husband, Andrew K. Johnson—my best friend, my teammate, and a man who lived a life rooted in service, strength, and unwavering love.

Andrew served in the United States Navy as an Aviation Mechanic and continued serving long after his military career ended—through adaptive sports, through building the Warriors OKC rowing team, through coaching, mentoring, and showing up for others again and again. That was who he was. A man who gave.

For six years, we walked through the reality of his brain cancer together. We learned how to live fully in the middle of uncertainty. We fought, we adapted, we found joy where we could—and we loved deeply through all of it.

And now, I’m learning how to navigate life without him.

This season has brought both emotional and practical challenges—ones that many people don’t always see. From medical-related expenses and end-of-life costs, to major life transitions and the day-to-day reality of rebuilding, there is a lot to carry.

Several people have asked how they can support me during this time. Truthfully, that question has been hard to answer—because I’m still figuring things out myself.

So this is me creating a simple way for those who have asked, and those who feel led, to support.
