My name is Tonya and I want to tell you about a lady I know that you may have even had interaction with. Her name is Cindy Wheeler and she is a Dietary Specialist in the cafeteria at our local hospital.

If you have eaten in the cafeteria and had the pleasure of Cindy cooking or serving you, then you know what I am about to tell you to be true. This is Cindy's today story:

Cindy Wheeler is more than a cook or server. She is the sunshine of the day for so many of her customers. Whether she is greeting her co-workers or the community it is with a warm smile, offering a kind word, or lifting spirits with her bright and positive energy. Cindy has a way of making everyone around her feel seen and cared for.

Well now Cindy needs us to care for her. Recently, Cindy underwent brain surgery to remove a tumor. While she is recovering well, this journey is far from over. The road ahead will require continued healing, rest, and support, both emotionally and financially.

Cindy has spent her days serving others with joy and compassion, never hesitating to uplift those around her. Now it is our turn to surround her with the same love and support she so freely gives. Donations will help ease the burden during her recovery and allow Cindy to focus on healing without added stress.
