Hi everyone!

My name is Kimberly & I am one of the nurses that works with Cindy! Her work family and I love her so much and would love your support during this difficult time in her and her family's life. Here is a little background on why we need your support.

Cindy is family to everyone she meets. After 42 years in the nursing field and raising 6 children, caring for others has truly been the story of her life. She has spent decades showing up for people in their hardest moments, always offering kindness, strength, and a smile.

Recently, Cindy received a diagnosis of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). True to who she is, she has chosen to face this chapter one day at a time with a glass-half-full outlook. Cindy doesn’t want pity, and she’d much rather spend her time enjoying life, making memories, and having fun with the people she loves.

If you know Cindy, you know she’s incredibly humble and proud. Asking for help has never been her style. While she waits for Social Security and is currently receiving only about 60% of her income, many friends and family have asked what they can do to support her. This fundraiser is simply a way for those who love Cindy to help ease everyday expenses, make a few home adjustments, and most importantly support the joy and experiences she wants to focus on during this time.

Her daughter Mary has moved in with her family to help navigate this next chapter together, and Cindy continues to stay busy and enjoy life surrounded by the people who mean the most to her.
