Many of you know Fran Levy, who is one of our CAs in the Houston Center office. Those of you who know her, would describe her as the ultimate professional who has a team first attitude and always conducts her daily routine with a smile. What you may not know, is last September, her 7 year old granddaughter, Christiana, was suffering from severe headaches and balance issues. After several misdiagnosed trips to the doctor, they took her to Texas Children’s Hospital, where they unfortunately found that she had a rare form of brain cancer called Pinoeblastoma.

Pinoeblastoma is a rare, aggressive type of tumorous cancer that begins in the brain. It can occur at any age, but it tends to occur most often in young children. After undergoing 3 surgeries and several rounds of chemotherapy, Christiana and her family are praying for a miracle.

Along with Fran, her son Christopher, has spent the last 8 months at the hospital primarily by Christiana’s side. As you can imagine, the medical and everyday expenses have started to add up and  has put their family into a dire financial  position.
 
The purpose of this campaign is to make everyone aware that someone in our RBC family here in Houston really needs us at the most critical time.
