Caring for Carrie Sue

As many of you may already know, Carrie Sue was in a terrible car accident early in the morning on March 5th, 2021 with two of her friends, one of which did not survive her injuries. 

And while there has already been another Go Fund Me started for all three victims, the family wanted to start their own Go Fund Me that is dedicated to the individual and extensive needs of just Carrie Sue as her injuries are many and her road to recovery will be long and expensive. Carrie will still receive a portion of the other funds, but that amount remains yet-to-be-seen and many have expressed a desire to dedicate their contributions directly to Carrie's recovery needs.

To shed some light on just how vast her needs are, Carrie endured multiple skull and facial fractures, a broken hip, severe brain bleed and multiple lacerations. She has been kept in a sedative state for many reasons but mainly to help keep her discomfort and blood pressure low as her hematoma continues to reduce and will help allow her body to rest as she heals. Likewise, her physical state is not entirely stable so she has also been placed on a ventilator until her condition improves significantly. 

All of these medical precautions and care are adding-up quickly, and while she does have insurance, the amount they are willing to cover is unknown and there will be a lot of physical therapy and recovery time needed before Carrie is in a state where she is able to work again. This means a lot of her ongoing affairs in addition to her medical bills need to be covered in the interim. 

Whatever you are able to give, no matter how big or small, will help Carrie overcome this enormous, unexpected and tragic financial burden she has just acquired. Thank you to everyone for your continued prayers and support and especially for anything you are able to contribute to help our girl.
