Caring for Calista

Many of you know my amazing, funny, loving friend Calista. If you know Calista then you also know her love story with her best friend and husband Billy Ray!! Everywhere Calista goes, Billy Ray is right beside her doting on her. You rarely see one of them without seeing the other.
Unfortunately in June Billy Ray was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer and was told there is no treatment that will help him. In less than a month his cancer has spread to his lymph nodes and his lungs and was told he has 1-2 months to live. Calista is obviously beside herself as many of us would be.
Calista is trying to spend every minute she can with Billy Ray and make the most of the short amount of time they have left with each other, while also trying to focus on how she will pay the bills now and after Billy Ray passes.
Since they recently moved and Calista started a new job, she does not have the full FMLA/LEAVE benefits through her new employer. I am trying to raise money for her so she can focus more on staying home and spending time with Billy Ray and less time worrying about the financial burdens that lay ahead of her. Everything from the simple groceries, and utility bills, to the bigger things like house payments and funeral arrangements.
During this time I am also asking that we respect what little time she has with him and we not flood her with tons of calls and texts asking numerous questions. I feel she does not need to use these last few months explaining things to each individual person. Therefore I will keep this page updated as she updates me. Please feel free to reach out to me with questions you may have. I will do my best to answer them. Also, PLEASE share this post. I know Calista has many friends that I am not friends with on facebook and the more it is shared, the more we can raise, and the more time she can spend at home and not work.
Thank you in advance for all your help.
Also, please say a prayer for my dear friends!!
Pray for comfort and peace for them as they go down this difficult road in life.
