Our sweet friend Becky has spent more than 32 years caring for others as a nurse, including the last 20 years devoted to the Moorhead clinic. She is so much more than a coworker—she is the heart of the team. Her years of experience, knowledge, compassion, kindness, and unwavering dedication have touched countless patients lives and made the Moorhead clinic a better place every single day. Patients adore her, and those of us lucky enough to work alongside her know just how irreplaceable she is.

Right now, Becky needs US.

Becky is currently in the ICU after experiencing what doctors believe may have been a severe allergic reaction and/or a serious infection. She currently remains on a breathing tube, but she is awake, teary, and in good spirits. She has been communicating to visitors and writing to her children, Joleene and Matt, who have been faithfully by her side throughout this difficult time.

As Becky begins what will likely be a long road to recovery, she will be away from work for an extended period of time.

Unfortunately, she doesn’t have enough paid time off to cover her leave, adding financial stress to an already overwhelming situation.

If you know Becky, you know she would NEVER ask for help herself. In fact, having a GoFundMe created for her is incredibly humbling. But for decades, she has selflessly cared for others, always putting her patients, coworkers, family and friends before herself. Now it’s our turn to care for her.
