When we moved into our new home in Lakeville, Pennsylvania, we quickly realized we weren’t alone. There are around 40 cats living on and around our property. Some are feral, many are friendly, and there are kittens too. We couldn’t ignore them, so we’ve been feeding them, putting out shelters, and doing everything we can to keep them safe.
The need is bigger than what our household can manage alone. Every cat in the colony needs spay and neuter support through TNR, and several need medical attention. One cat has an eye issue, another is missing a leg, and there are many others who may need care as well. We also want to help the friendly cats have a chance at loving homes or foster placements, and we would be deeply grateful for any connections to rescue or TNR organizations.
Donations will help us keep 40+ cats fed every day, provide necessary veterinary care, and build safer shelters before the Pennsylvania winter. Because this is an ongoing situation, recurring donations would make a real difference by helping us keep up with food, shelter, and care over time. One-time donations are also incredibly helpful and appreciated.
If you’re able to help in any way, whether by donating, fostering, adopting, sharing this fundraiser, or connecting us with rescue support, it would mean so much. We’re doing everything we can for these cats, and with help from others, we can give them a better chance at safety, care, and homes.
