I'm a college student at NC State who is using her summer to help protect our community by making masks. I have grown up in an immunocompromised family, so protecting others from illness is very important to me. This fundraiser's goal is to raise money for mask materials. Each mask costs approximately $5 to make. The masks will be donated to several different organizations, including a refugee ministry called Refugee Hope Partners. This ministry works with refugees from all over the world who live in the Cedar Point Appartments in Raleigh. Your support would mean protecting another vulnerable human being from the illness that is spreading all over the world. It would mean being able to purchase cheerful, high-quality fabric so that masks can serve as a way to bring joy instead of just as a reminder of our frailty.
