Our Caribbean community on campus is small, and international students often face limited access to financial aid. This is the very first scholarship we are doing, and for now, it will go to one student this year. We hope it will eventually grow to support a student each year. This scholarship will help decrease the overall costs of tuition, housing, or other essential expenses for a deserving student. It’s a small amount, but it can make a meaningful difference and help the recipient thrive academically and feel a true sense of belonging. Beyond finances, it’s about representation and ensuring Caribbean voices and culture continue to be part of our campus community.
