We are raising money to benefit one of our own - Ocean Creek Resort General Manager, Cari G., as she battles cancer.

Cari has been a beloved member of the VMB family since 2018. Despite being recently diagnosed with multiple myeloma, her steadfast presence of goodness, honesty, generosity, and a sincere love for people is still shining through. Despite the difficult diagnosis and starting intensive treatments, her colorful personality and infectious smile are still present. Her favorite VMB Core Value is “we make it happen with passion and determination” … because that is how she lives her life.

We are gathering our resources and connections to help support our ‘trivia-loving’ and die-hard “Friends” fan through this difficult journey ahead. Cari is a single mother of one to her son, Riley. She is very proud of her incredibly smart and hardworking son who currently lives in American Samoa. Her favorite thing to do is travel and make memories – particularly with the people she loves. The world is a better place with her in it, so we are bringing in all of the local support we can to help her through this battle.
