Things have not been easy for me the past 3 months. I have had many medical issues come up and it has put my life at a stand still. In December, I had to have my gallbladder removed, this caused me to lose 20 lbs from the lack of food and miss a lot of work. The girls were able to come for Christmas, thank goodness I felt better at that time. On Dec 26th I started to get sick again as if my gallbladder was never removed. Within a few weeks I was stuck in the hospital with no answers. Clear Lake Regional actually made me more sick than I was when I got there. I ended up with pneumonia and a blood clot on top of not knowing what was wrong. I then finally went to MD Anderson where they tried to help. I got a call on Jan 19th and MD Anderson told me I had to have emergency surgery the following day. The recovery alone took me 10 days (in hospital) and they still were unable to figure out the problem. I went home, barely able to eat and function, but ready to feel normal. Last Thursday, Feb 12th I had a great visit with a friend and then got very ill. I had to once again be taken to the ER at MD Anderson where I found out I had acute pancreatitis, on top of the issue that still has yet to be diagnosed. This has made it very hard to work and I need to concentrate on my health at this time. This help will help keep my stress levels down so I can focus on my health.
