Caregivers of Petrolia Ferals
Donation protected
The greatness of a community and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated. And as a community, we are falling into a state of emergency for our Feral Cats.
Caregivers of Petrolia Ferals organization has existed for over 28 years and I’m sure many of you have seen Julie giving her all, committed to helping these cats and preventing further suffering. But Financially, the organization is strapped. There is nothing more to help keep this care going as we rely solely on the support of our community.
The feral cats of Petrolia receive NO provincial or municipal government funding.
With the cat intake drastically increasing regularly, and a veterinary crisis, the cost of care for these animals has put us in desperate need of community financial help to keep going.
Many feral, semi-social and domestic cats have been just “dumped” on the community and the bills for proper care are piling up. We are so thankful for everyone that has helped with this initiative over the years, especially during these imperiled times, however, we are desperate for financial help to keep going.
We could fundraise all day for food, and shelter. We could ask for more foster care. But what we NEED is what you don’t see. We are desperate for help with Veterinary care and veterinary bills to keep up.
How can you help? Money. I don’t say that lightly. We appreciate all donations, but the only way for us to properly catch up with help is MONEY.
Please help be the change. Every dollar helps!
