Hello, my name is Alyssa. I was asked by my friend Anda, an Adult Family Home provider in Washington State, to help share the story of Doreen Gandali former caregiver and raise funds for her urgent needs.

Doreen, a caregiver in Washington, suffered a sudden stroke and was abandoned in a hotel with no food, no medication, and no support. Her only wish is to return home to Malawi to be with her child and parents. Please help us get her there safely.

We are raising funds to help Doreen return home to Malawi to be with her child and her parents.

This fundraiser will cover:

✈️ A plane ticket for Doreen and a companion caregiver to escort her home safely

Two weeks of wages for the companion so they can take time off work to help her get settled

Immediate food, medication, and essentials while she waits to travel

Doreen has spent her life caring for others with love and compassion. Now it is our turn to care for her.
