Caring for Corbin

Donation protected

On Sunday, October 1, 2017 brothers 17 year-old Corbin and 14 year-old Gavin Sines along with their friend 17 year-old Kirby all from Sherwood, Ohio were involved in a serious car accident. Corbin lost control of his vehicle and struck a utility pole causing the vehicle to roll several times before resting on its roof. Gavin sustained a broken thumb and dislocated shoulder along with many cuts and bruises. Kirby sustained a serious broken leg that required surgery. Corbin took the brunt of the accident and was lifeflighted to St. Vincent Hospital in Toledo with numerous injuries, a broken neck being the most severe. Corbin was taken into surgery Sunday evening and is now in pediatric ICU. At this time Corbin is paralyzed from the chest down. The outlook is not promising that he will regain mobility. Corbin also has other injuries that will require further surgery. Corbin is a senior at Fairview High school and Gavin is in the 8th grade at Fairview Middle School. This page has been created to help the Sines family with medical bills and alleviate any financial burdens that they may experience while Corbin faces a long recovery. The family is not giving up the hope that Corbin will regain mobility. As of today the medical staff is looking into sending Corbin to Columbus for in-house rehabilitation possibly as soon as next week. Miracles happen every day and we refuse to give up!
