My 27 year old healthy, hard-working son wakes up one Monday morning in March with extreme headahces, nausea and vision issues.
After one week of meds that brought no relief, a return visit to his GP resulted in an emergency MRI of his head. This revealed multiple blood clots on his brain. An ER visit and 4 days in the hospital ended with many specialists and a proposed lifetime of blood thinners. No known injury or cause.
We are thankful for the all the care he received that most surely saved his life. His basic health insurance does not begin to cover the doctor and hospital bills. He needs some help to get back on his feet financially to pay these bills.
