Unfortunately on the night of July 28, 2021 Caree Cannon was taken from us in a senseless act of violence at the young age of 24 years old. Caree leaves behind his mother, Latrell Hill, his 4yr old daughter Theresa (affectionately known as “Muffin”), siblings, niece, nephews, aunts, uncles and many cousins.
Caree had a smile that would light up any room. He was charming, outgoing, funny, laid back, caring and all round “everything” as his oldest brother would say. He would literally give the shirt off is back if you needed it. Caree was loved by so by many and will be sorely missed.
We are all devastated by the loss of Caree and are not prepared for the expenses of yet another funeral, as our family laid his grandmother to rest only four short weeks ago. No parent is truly prepared to bury their child, especially not at 24 years old. We want to give Caree the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes.
On behalf of the family I have created this page to lighten their load. We have had several people asking about donations for the family and memorial service.... if you would like to donate you may do so here to help the family with the costs. Any amount will truly help, We need to raise $10,000 in order to be able to cover the funeral service and any unforeseen expenses due to his untimely death.
We are still working out the details of Caree’s funeral arrangements and will keep everyone posted as soon as we know more.
Our family sincerely thanks you all for your love and support during this extremely difficult time.
God Bless
Fuji Anna Woods-Hill on behalf of Latrell Hill
