Care to help two adult cats and their nine offspring?

A resident of the small town of Delphi in Richland Parish recently contacted us, explaining that she could not afford to fix or continue feeding two cats that showed up on her porch, which recently gave birth to nine kittens. We could sympathize. With our state's exploding stray dog and cat population, with no end in sight, it's challenging to meet the needs and provide sufficient homes and resources to tackle each problem.

However, we agreed to help. Not only did we agree to raise funds to pay for their housing, feeding, vaccinating, and sterilizations, but we also arranged for a volunteer to deliver them to us—a trip of several hundred miles!
