Hello friend

My sister and I set up this page because we want to help our wonderful mom, Stephanie, and our amazing step-dad, Chris. Life has thrown a lot at them lately, and it’s been really tough to watch them struggle.

A few months ago, Chris lost his job. Not long after, he ended up in the ER with unbearable sciatica pain. An MRI revealed a large synovial cyst on his spine—the worst the doctor had ever seen. Surgery was unavoidable, and thankfully, it went well on September 16th. Chris is now in recovery, but he’s been unable to work throughout all this and will still need time before he’s back on his feet.

As if that wasn’t enough, our mom’s car engine literally caught on fire. Now she’s trying to figure out how to replace it—all while juggling her job, covering medical bills, supporting Chris through recovery, and keeping up with the household.

They’re managing the best they can on just one income, but the unexpected medical bills and car repairs have made things overwhelming.

Our mom, Stephanie, is the kind of person who gives everything to others without asking for anything in return. She has the biggest heart and deserves to be supported the way she has always supported us.

Chris is a devoted, hardworking family man. This recovery has been hard on him, but lifting some of this financial stress would give him the time and peace he needs to heal fully.
