On December 13th, Quincy brought Taylor to the emergency room to check out a complication. That night, through a CT scan, they learned that Taylor had a large cancerous mass on her kidney that needed to be removed through emergency surgery the following day. The surgery went well and Taylor is now in recovery, but she needed to spend a few days in the hospital for testing, recovery, and care.

Originally the doctors said that Taylor has at least Stage 3 cancer, but they don't know the full details yet. Because they still don't know the prognosis, they are not sure what the future is going to look like. It's possible that Taylor may need chemotherapy. Whatever the prognosis, Taylor and Quincy need and would be the most grateful for any financial aid.

Taylor is one of the most generous, loving people I know. She is always looking for ways that she can support and look out for other people. When she woke up from surgery, one of the first things that she started asking about was other people, to make sure everyone else was doing okay. She is incredibly selfless and the amount of love and care that she gives as a mother, wife, sister, and friend is astounding.

Taylor and Quincy have four sweet kids ages 6 and under. (Cutest kids of all time - in my own humble aunt opinion) With Taylor healing and Quincy being a small business owner, Quincy has not been able to work enough to make ends meet during this difficult time. The medical bills are starting to come in and while they are able to pay much of the bills, there is still a large chunk that they are not able to pay on their own. They are also hoping to move their family back to Utah in the near future and the funds will help them to move back. They will be able to get medical care and any potential future medical care taken care of in Utah, as well as being close to family and friends who can support Taylor and Quincy's family.

Taylor and Quincy are so grateful for your love and support during this difficult time, especially during this Christmas season. They want you all to know that they feel so loved and cared for by all of you! They know that so many of you have already sent money and help, and they do not want anyone who has already supported to feel any sort of obligation to pay anything more.
