My name is Mary Hammarlund and I am raising money for my aunt and uncle, Shelly and Bob Wright.

Both Shelly and Bob have had a variety of medical issues that have caused financial strain. Shelly has severe degenerative disc disease and is a disabled registered nurse. She has had to have multiple spinal fusions over her life. Shelly has had three surgeries within the past year while receiving disability. In addition, Bob was diagnosed with bladder cancer, had to undergo a heart valve replacement, and have all of his toes on one foot amputated due to a severe infection.

In addition to facing medical issues, Bob was downsized out of his job after 25 years of employment. However, he will still need extended care thru visiting nurses, wound care treatments, and intravenous antibiotics. With his recovery and continued needs at this time, finding another job is a challenging prospect.

Shelly and Bob are two very caring individuals that have supported me and my family through hardship before. They have taught us to show up for the people we love. We are hoping to support them back.
