Hi everyone! Meet Robin. He is our 6 year old Siamese cat with severe cystitis. We have had multiple trips to the emergency vet due to his condition. Cystitis is genetic and consists of chronic inflammation of the bladder which causes him to strain when he pees. Three years of this has lead to a rectal prolapse. My wife and I have exhausted all of our options including more water fountains (he refuses to drink on his own), prescription diets (which he has refused to eat), ultrasounds (no obstructions to note), wet food only diet with added water, food additives for hydration, and anything we can possibly think of to help him. We thought his condition was under control until his prolapse on March 18, 2026. In order to prevent a future prolapse, we need to either take him to an internal medicine specialist or save up for a radiation treatment. We appreciate any contributions to help our precious boy! Even simply sharing this would be so helpful! Thank you!
