Hi, my name is Kate.

On Friday the 12th, my sister Olivia was in a serious car accident when another driver tried to turn left in front of her and hit her almost head-on. She was badly injured and is currently in the hospital.

Olivia suffered multiple serious injuries, including fractures to her back and chest, and she had emergency back surgery. She now has screws and a rod in her spine to stabilize the injury. Thankfully, she is still able to walk, but her injuries are severe and her recovery is going to take time. She will be out of work for at least a few months and will need ongoing care and support.

I’m creating this GoFundMe to help Olivia with everyday living expenses and recovery-related needs so she can focus on healing without the added stress of finances.

Anyone who knows Olivia knows how strong and kind she is. This has been an overwhelming experience, but we are so grateful for the love and support from our family, friends, and community. The road ahead will be long, but we know we’re not alone.
