I'm raising funds for my mom Courtenaye Lawrence who has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure, AFIB, and now has a stage four bedsore. She is bed bound for 22 hours a day and needs 24-hour care.

Right now, there is an issue with her long-term care insurance, and it has created an immediate gap in coverage. Because of that, three months of care funds are needed right now to make sure she can continue getting the support she needs. Her care costs $2,280 per week.

I am currently acting as her night nurse while still trying to keep up with work, and it has become incredibly hard to manage both without burning out my own sick leave. I am often exhausted and overwhelmed, and the strain is making it difficult to keep working while also helping care for her.
