Hi, we are Vee and Makayla, and we are asking for help for our sweet boy, Mr. Meowgie. If you know us, you know that he is the sweetest most affectionate cat you’ll ever meet.

Over the weekend, Mr. Meowgie became very sick and was vomiting for over 24 hours. We rushed him to the emergency vet, where he needed two X-rays at about $350 each and an initial exam and fees totaling around $280. Imaging showed a linear foreign object in his digestive tract that required immediate surgery.

The emergency visit, including an ultrasound, totaled about $1,500. On January 6, 2026, Mr. Meowgie underwent surgery to remove the obstruction, which cost $990.

While the surgery itself was successful, his recovery has been extremely difficult. He developed a high fever that rose above 104°F, requiring additional bloodwork, IV antibiotics, pain management, and continuous IV fluids. Ongoing hospitalization, IV care, and a feeding tube have added approximately $800 so far, and costs are continuing to grow as he receives 24-hour emergency care.

Mr. Meowgie is our family, and we are doing everything we can to give him the best chance possible. The medical expenses have added up very quickly and have become overwhelming. Any support, whether through donating or sharing, will go directly toward his care and means more to us than we can express.
