On Thanksgiving, my mom went into Willamette Falls Hospital via ambulance due to severe abdominal pain. They discovered she had a bowel obstruction and complications from a previous hernia repair in 2022.

She had to have open surgery to fix these complications on Monday, the 1st of December. After spending 9 days in the hospital, she was finally able to come home on Saturday, December 6th. After being home for 3 days, she had to return to the hospital due to more complications, delaying her recovery further.

It will be a few months before she is able to return to her job and be able to pay for her bills such as her car payment.

She will need some assistance in the coming months while she is recovering. We know that things are tough for everyone right now, so there is no pressure here. Prayers are very welcome as well as other types of support. If you feel able to and led to do so, we truly appreciate all that is done to help her.
